Google Ads management for a med spa
Search is the only place someone types that they want a treatment in your zip code this week. It is also where med spa accounts leak most, because this category adds a policy layer on top of the usual mistakes. Split the account by economics, not by treatment menu. Injectables carry the highest intent and the highest click price, roughly $6 to $18 in a mid-sized metro and past $25 in the most competitive coastal markets. Laser and body contouring click cheaper and close slower. Brand terms cost pennies. Facials and skin fill the calendar with low-ticket visits, so run them only when there is room.
The policy layer stalls half of new accounts. You can generally bid on branded injectable names as keywords. Putting those names, unit prices or dosing into headlines and landing page copy is what produces the disapproval. Write to the treatment category and the consult, and name your medical director on the page.
Expect $30 to $90 per lead, and three to five times that per treatment actually performed. Two weeks in, working means a search terms report you have pruned twice, ten call recordings you have listened to, and a cost per booked consult you can say out loud.
